IT platform implementation and 24/7 maintenance for largest UK health board
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde provide healthcare and health-related services to over 1.2 million patients and employ around 38,000 members of staff.
With their previous IT infrastructure being over seven years old and no longer supported with software maintenance or operating system updates, an effective solution was essential for NHSGGC. As their system operates only throughout the night, we worked closely with them to ensure that our new solution was implemented seamlessly for both the staff and the patients.
Our 24/7 Monitoring system has helped to bring long-term stability to their IT infrastructure, making sure that our support continues to be smooth and free of interruptions to their work, whilst also keeping their operating system software up to date.
“The work ICO Systems carried out for us was detailed and seamless with no down time during our operational hours. This meant there was no negative impact on our ability to deliver the service to our patients and we could operate as normal. This represented a huge cost saving to us as no additional staff or shifts were required during the project”
– Joan Barr, Clinical Service Manager for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
